Making smart decisions about your home's heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) system can have a big effect on your utility bills — and your comfort. This is the reason Chris Ashe of Extreme Climates decided to break away from the heating and cooling company he previously worked for and start his own business in 2000. His vision was to create a company that you could trust that was there for his family, friends and customers. In doing so, Chris created one of the most faithful, loyal, respected and successful heating and air companies in the area.

Chris Ashe believes in giving back to the surrounding communities by supporting local businesses and schools through sponsorship programs. He has also donated equipment for Habitat House's for those in need. Extreme Climates finds that the greatest reward is giving back to the community and making a difference in the lives of our family and friends.
Extreme Climates has accomplished many achievements' over the years. We have collected over two dozen awards for outstanding achievements, highest sales volumes and top ten seller awards from American Standard and Rheem. Better Business Bureau (BBB) has accredited Extreme Climates, recognizing the we are a company who provides trust, integrity and a steadfast commitment to our customers. Extreme Climates was voted by the people "Best of Readers' Choice 2018 and 2020" for the Coastal Virginia Magazine Contest.
